My Sim Racing Setup

I frequently get asked about the gear I use on a day-to-day basis to make the sim racing videos. So, here’s a short synopsis of the gear I’m using at the moment, and some of the other gear I have owned, but have moved on for one reason or another.

The current setup, centred around the Fanatec ecosystem allows me to drive older titles that don’t recognise multiple USB inputs, and use the same wheel and pedal setup for console racing as well.

Current Sim Racing Setup

Wheelbase: Fanatec Podium DD1
Pedals: Fanatec Clubsport V3
Shifter: Fanatec Clubsport Shifter SQ V1.5
Cockpit: Sim Lab GT1 EVO
Handbrake & Sequential Shifter: Aiologs
PC: i7 8700K / Nvidia 1080ti / 32GB Ram

My first ‘proper’ sim racing setup, featuring the unwieldy combination of triple 1440p monitors – which at the time really did ask too much of the poor GTX980 video card I was running!
